Celebrating Mum with Pandora
So now that Halloween and Bonfire Night are out of the way, we’re officially allowed to get excited about Christmas right?!

I’m not quite in the ‘Tree up in November Gang’.…but almost! Come the 1st of December, I want those trees up, the fairy lights lit and the gifts all wrapped! Christmas is my FAVOURITE!
When gorgeous jewellery brand PANDORA , asked if I would like to choose a gift for someone special from the PANDORA CHRISTMAS COLLECTION, I leapt at the chance. Everyone knows this brand is the sentimentalists dream. There’s something so wonderful about wearing something with meaning, and chosen well, I think that beautiful jewellery makes the perfect gift.
I knew instantly who this special person, lucky enough to receive some stunning PANDORA Christmas Jewellery, would be. It’s a lady that I never really speak about often enough in this space, or actually in any space at all. Which is crazy, because I owe her, well, everything……
My wonderful Mum.
It’s funny, but I don’t think I truly appreciated just how amazing she is, until I became a mother myself. Her love is unquestioning, without any judgement or opinion. In my teenage years we used to fight like sisters, and sometimes we still do. But that fierce and unconditional love has helped me to make some of the hardest decisions of my life.
An incredible mother, and now an even more incredible grandmother. I watch her wrap her heart around my boys and realise that I, we, really do owe this lady the world. She deserves best.

So with Christmas fast approaching, and a PANDORA shop filled with treats, we took her out for a day of festive fun to see if I could get any clues what would make the perfect gift for her.
I see Mum so often, usually when I’m exhausted getting in from work or rushing off to work in the morning while she prepares for a day of Ollie chasing. It feels like we haven’t really spent any quality time together for a while. These days just walking about the shops, lunching and chatting, I know that they’re the memories I’ll hold in my heart forever.
I really do owe my love of Christmas to Mum. As an only child, it would’ve been quite easy to feel a little bored, but never did that thought cross my mind. She made it magical, every step of the way.
Growing up, when we decorated the Christmas tree, we never put a fairy on the top. We just waited for her to “arrive”. Every morning I would run downstairs to see if the fairy had arrived. Sure enough, a few days later, there she would be. All proud and sparkly, wearing the dress of my five year old dreams!!
We’re thrilled that this year, mum will be with us on Christmas Day. We’ll continue with her sweet traditions so that the boys feel that magic too! I imagine our house, in a few years time, when this bump of mine is a little boy and Ollie is a big brother, my mum, of course, the queen of their hearts.
So, what did I choose….
I saw this stunning pearl collection and just knew it was for her. Pearls always remind me of Mum. I remember watching her get ready as a little girl, those pearls the finishing touch to her look. Timeless, elegant and the luminosity of those creamy stones lifts her complexion perfectly. In my opinion, every woman should own pearls.
What makes these that little bit more special is that the pearls are framed with a sparkle of cubic zirconia. It’s really beautiful and delicate; I just know she will love them!

Everything at PANDORA comes in beautiful white leather boxes, the kind you want to leave out on your dresser.
My little helper and I have already wrapped Mum’s gifts simply in brown paper and string….that’s another one of Mum’s lovely traditions.
Now just 7 weeks to wait until we give them to her….
That’s the problem with being so organised… how do you resist the urge to give an early gift here and there…..???
