If you’ve been here a little while, it’s likely you’ll already know of my English Stamp addiction!

With a basket full of their beautiful stamps, and still finding gaps in my collection, it was a delight to collaborate with them on a limited edition Christmas collection in 2020.

We raised £2000 for the life saving charity Women’s Aid, and it was truly so lovely to see your photographs of hand stamped sustainable cards and wrap last Christmas.

However, we sold out very quickly, leaving many of you disappointed, so I’m so pleased to say that we have something special to share with you again this year….

English Stamp Company are a small UK based independent business based in tranquil Dorset.

They’ve been ethically manufacturing high quality rubber stamps from their countryside factory since 1992.

With an emphasis on design and personalisation, they make stamps for branding, weddings, interiors, wrapping and clothing. Though I found that my very favourite way to use their stamps is to make my own cards and gift wrap.

Making Gift Wrap

A couple of years ago I learned that most shop bought gift wrap isn’t recyclable. I thought about the masses we add to our recycling tray after every birthday party or Christmas without thinking, and decided to make a change, and I’m so happy that I did.

Making your own gift wrap doesn’t need to take up lots of time. It’s actually very easy, and cost effective too. It’s something my boys love to get involved with, but also a calm and mindful activity I like to do on my own.

After the huge success of our 2020 Limited Christmas collection, I’m excited to share that we are back with a 2021 collection! This time, the stamps will be sold individually, so you can choose your favourites and build up your personal collection. Many are personalised and will be made to order, they will be available to order until the end of this year.

Once again, we are raising funds for a charity close to our hearts, the life saving charity Women’s Aid.

Women’s Aid is a lifesaving federation of frontline domestic abuse services, supporting women and children at the most challenging times of their lives. By donating to them, we are supporting survivors of domestic abuse.

In the collection you’ll find a selection of botanical illustrations that work beautifully alone on cards and tags, and equally perfectly repeated across gift wrap, textiles and cards.

The illustrations are drawn by wonderful Sophie Jackson, who created them for my blog, but I loved them so much and knew they would make elegant, modern stamps.

These botanical stamps are available in several sizes, I think the large sizes make particularly gorgeous gift wrap.

I loved working with English Stamp to design some really beautiful and handy text stamps. We’ve used two of my favourite fonts for these.

The cursive is elegant, feminine and timeless.

The traditional font is bold and classic.

You’ll notice some of the Christmas stamps are BACK! We’ve also added lots more popular phrases and many of these beautiful stamps can be personalised.

I hope these will not only save you lots of time during gift-giving season, but also help you create really special gifts.

The only other thing you really need to get started is some brown or white parcel paper (I like this one and this one as neither are shiny, they work better), luggage labels and some twine.

I also use a tape like this which can be recycled along with the paper.

I love holding on to any nice ribbons and things that I find, It’s amazing how quickly you can build up a collection of ribbons and tissue when you hold on to all of it.

I hope that you love these stamps as much as I do, and that they inspire you to get crafty and make gifting more personal and sustainable.

Orders are open NOW! Happy Stamping!
